Carmen Munhequete Member

Carmen Munhequete is a Mozambican development practitioner. Over the 21 years, she has been working as a Country Representative, Senior Manager, lecturer, team leader, consultant, and advisor, representing International Development agencies, NGOs, the Private Sector, and Academia.

She has two master’s degrees, one in Environmental Sciences and the other in Rural Development with streaming in Agronomic Studies, a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and a professional certification in Agriculture and Livestock. Besides these technical skills, she has developed strong substantive skills in research, programme design and implementation, fundraising, influencing, and advocacy throughout her career.

Areas of expertise include environment and climate change, agriculture and livestock, disaster risk management, food rights, and gender justice.
