Trimita is a dedicated feminist researcher, campaigner, and adept trainer who hails from the Indigenous Chakma hill tribe of Bangladesh. She brings to SFF 12 years’ experience and expertise in women’s rights advocacy, from research to campaign strategy development, further enriched by her strong Information Technology background.  Her knowledge and expertise extends to application of Feminist Participatory Action Research (FPAR) tools to address key issues such as climate justice, labour rights, migration, and land rights across the Asia Pacific and Africa where she contributed to grassroots campaigns alongside hundreds of activists. She has contributed thought-provoking publications on the methodology and, in 2022, she co-founded the FPAR Academy – an innovative online platform promoting education on feminist participatory action research.
