Debarati Das Knowledge and Research Programme Assistant

Debarati Das (they/them) is a queer non-binary feminist based in India. As Knowledge and Research Programme Assistant at South Feminist Futures, they work to build, enhance, and sustain the Knowledge Hub to support Southern feminist activism. Their core experience lies at the intersections of gender, sexuality, and technology, particularly in relation to the experiences and challenges faced by structurally excluded communities — including women, adolescent girls, queer and trans individuals, sex workers, and disabled individuals. Currently, they’re an independent consultant also working in the areas of independent technology research and anti-colonial tech.
