Korto Williams Member
Korto, a 2021 Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellow at Yale University, is a feminist activist and a writer. Her work focuses on dismantling structural barriers that impact human rights, particularly through the symbolism of ‘checkpoints.’ Her works include research on feminist collective organizing-“Beyond Mass Action: A Study of Collective Organizing Among Liberian Women” and a collection of poetry – “Inappropriate Medley: An Intersection between Patriarchy, Pleasure and Redemption.” Korto has extensive experience in technical advisory and senior management roles across Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas, reflecting her commitment to driving positive change in civil society.
