Maty Diawara Communications Assistant

Maty Diawara is an Ivorian intersectional feminist, writer, researcher, and communications professional. Deeply committed to human rights and social justice, she holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Sciences Po Paris, with specialized expertise in the geopolitical dynamics of Sub-Saharan Africa. Her work champions participatory action research, decolonial knowledge production, and culturally sensitive, gender- and youth-centered policymaking emphasising intersectionality, as a critical driver of development in the Global South. Guided by a passion for creative writing and strategic communication, Maty believes in the transformative power of narratives and storytelling to advance feminist social change and empower marginalized communities.
